Probability of Encountering Cultural Resources: NW Connecticut, USA

Research projected presented at the 2016 UMass GIS Poster Conference predicting the probability of encountering cultural resources. Using archaeological data collected by the UMass Archaeological Services Department and various environmental datasets, a predictive model was created to determine the likelihood of encountering cultural resources throughout the state of Connecticut.
